Ukrainian energy body announces gas price increases

Kiev, 24 July: The National Commission for Energy Regulation will increase gas prices for the population and heat-generating companies at the start of this autumn.
A statement to this effect was posted on the commission's official website today.
Starting 1 September, the commission will raise by 20 per cent retail gas rates for the population.
Starting 1 October, the commission will raise the price ceiling for heat-generating companies, which use energy in the production and delivery to the population of heating and hot water supply services.
